Focus on the environment

As part of our commitment to genuinely reducing our impact on the planet we are continually reviewing all production processes and exploring new technology to understand where we can make substantial improvements.

We are currently transforming our pre-press process and moving to ‘Processless’ plate technology in partnership with our supplier Fujifilm. We will be the first VLF large format POS supplier using the technology.

The new technology delivers a streamlined process; once the plate has been imaged in a Platesetter, it is then mounted directly onto the press. This removes the requirement for a plate processor and delivers a positive impact on the environment by:

• reducing water usage
• reducing power usage
• eliminating chemicals
• eliminating associated waste collections
