The Range were looking for a new supplier after stores reported issues of receiving damaged POS causing additional stock call offs and potentially delaying go live dates.
THE RESPONSE
We analysed how items were sent to stores.
Discovered posters and shelf edge strips were packed together in a tube, and manuals were left unprotected within the pack.
Our packing team tested and found packing the posters and shelf edge strips in a flat pack rather than a tube greatly reduced damage.
Manuals were individually packed in bubble envelopes to also prevent damage in transit.
Items were received in good condition and positive feedback was received from both stores and head office.
